OSP ORIKANEMUSHI is a secret bug that has remained a secret from the public. Its refined performance has led it to victory in many tournaments. The secrets of the lure's overwhelming success are its "outstanding fish-collecting power despite its small silhouette that is resistant to high pressure," "extremely bait-like presence that fools even bass that have been exposed to insect lures," and "excellent snag-less performance and good hooking. The sweet popping sound and splash produced by the cup-shaped head pulls bass from deep cover and from deeper ranges, where small silhouette insect lures would normally go unnoticed by bass. The reverse-facing arm makes it easy to attract bass by minimizing the moving distance, while at the same time reproducing the motion of a drowning insect. The four pairs of legs float on the surface of the water, creating complex ripples with even the slightest shake. Two brush guards are designed for heavy cover fishing, and are planted in a vertical row to protect the hook on the center line, even when the guard is cut to a single guard. We concluded that the downward facing line eye & hook provide the best hooking. It is not limited to fields where insects are the main bait, but is also immensely effective against very high pressure and visible bass.
