Nories LAYDOWN MINNOW 110 MID" has a powerful wobbling and rolling action of the high buoyancy body. Yet, when the rod is worked, it produces a light and sharp dart that is similar to the action of the short bill jerkbait. It also keeps a slightly deeper mid-range where bass can easily catch up, increasing the catching rate of the jerkbait pattern. Castability is also improved by the "casting fin" on the back of the lip and the unique weight balance for stable flight. During low water temperatures, the floating type is effective in attracting fish by floating to the water's surface. And the high float version, which uses a bone-white ABS material with high buoyancy, produces a sharper action and stronger ripples in response. LAYDOWN MINNOW adopted "Back Roll Weight" system where the weight is placed in a special position on the back of the body, since 2008. Normally, this position makes swimming unstable, and it is difficult to make the lure swim straight. By combining this with a low center of gravity weight, a high center of gravity is achieved and the weight is distributed vertically. This gives the lure amazing low-speed startup, shaky behavior at stops, and irregular darting performance.
