Imakatsu SG PLUS, which debuted in 2009, has been upgraded to the SUPER SG PLUS with a new elastomer soft tail. The action has evolved into a jerkbait type that excels at sliding darts and sudden stops with a strong left to right action. The two stabilizers on the front and back of the bait maintain horizontal stability, while the special jointed bait enables a (moderate) three-dimensional dart that only lipless baits can produce. Compared to jerkbaits with a lip, the movement of the lipless bait is more complex and irregular, making it difficult to be detected, and it has an excellent bite-triggering effect on large bass in major fields or when they are spooky. The size of the jerkbait, 145mm (5.7in) in length, which is rare among jerkbaits, and its panic action are very fresh for bass that have lost interest in slow-moving large baits.
