Although the original JOINTED CLAW 178 has a wide and slow swimming action, JOINTED CLAW 148 has a relatively narrower path of travel on the S-swimming action and also has a faster action. This narrower swimming action allows approach to smaller and narrower points. In this smaller size it is also effective on bass who seem to shy away from lures.
